主要从事遥感影像处理与应用方面的研究工作。近五年，在本领域权威期刊和国际会议上发表论文10余篇。其中SCI索引论文7篇，EI索引论文4篇。承担和参与国家省部级项目5项，作为项目负责人分别主持国家自然科学基金1项，中国博士后科学基金1项；申请发明专利1项。2014年和2015年分别获得教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（自然科学奖）和中国商业联合会科学技术奖二等奖各一项。
